Saturday 9th May 2015

No walk last Saturday as I was working and Sunday we had some friends round so, I was disappointed on getting up this morning to see the rain. Thankfully it soon eased off, just as Dave arrived so, we headed to Ballaglass which had dappled sunlight through the trees. The bluebells look as though they need another week or so before they are at their best

After a visit to Cornaa for a short walk and lunch in the sun, we headed to Laxey where we had a walk followed by ice cream. The special today was Lemon Meringue which was very nice

Saturday 25th April 2015

A miserable day after what had been a lovely week. Dave and I started our morning at Ballaugh Plantation

We headed up through Druidale but, a combination of sleet and snow persuaded us not to stop so we carried on to Injebreck

Next stop was Peel for lunch and an ice cream

On our way home, we called into the Curraghs

After tea, Chris and I decided to go out once it got dark to Ballaugh Old Church

Sunday 19th April 2015

This morning Chris and I headed to Ballaugh Plantation. Chris wanted to practise with his flash prior to our upcoming trip to Ecuador.

Saturday 18th April 2015

Today I suggested two different walks to Dave, not thinking that we would do both. Firstly we went to Ballaglass

After walking through the glen, we continued towards Glen Mona

We then walked back to Ballaglass via Cashtel yn Ard though, it was difficult to drag Dave away from the sunshine

Following some lunch in Laxey, we walked past King Orry's grave and up the footpath to Agneash

In the evening, Chris and I decided to go to Glen Mooar beach for sunset
