With the snow not being nearly as bad as forecast we were able to drive somewhere today. We headed to Hibernia to park up then walk to Parc Llewellyn in the hope of seeing Mountain Hare.
As we slipped up the path, I heard what sounded like a car - it was! Land Rover's go where they want
We saw numerous icicles but not as much snow as we expected
When we arrived at Parc Llewellyn, Dave suggested going to the top of North Barrule.....
We didn't see any Hares, though saw lots of tracks
Each Saturday I go out walking around the Isle of Man with my friend Dave. We take pictures as we walk - sometimes more pictures than walking! Though Dave is older than me, he is usually in front, especially when climbing hills, something he enjoys a lot more than me. I also go out with the camera on Sunday's (with my husband, Chris) or any other time I'm not working, trying to capture different views of the island

Saturday 12th January 2013
Today Dave and I first headed into Douglas to see if the tide was crashing over as it was starting to do in Ramsey. When we arrived, we realised the wind was in a better position for this and we would have to be careful that we didn't get wet when taking pictures.
We then headed down south for a walk around Langness and Fort Island
As we began to head for home, we stopped at Hango Hill as the sun was starting to go down and warming the sky.
