Sunday 22nd March 2015

Chris and I were without inspiration this morning so headed out to the Ayres. On arriving we noticed that some of the grasses were frozen and the sunlight was shining onto the beads of ice and moisture

Saturday 21st March 2015

As it was such a lovely morning, Dave and I headed to Maughold Church to look at the daffodil lined drive and the head

A short drive followed the we walked up to Parc Llewellyn then on to the mines

Saturday 14th March 2015

Dave and I were undecided where to go this morning as it was grey and uninspiring. We went up to Phil's place in the Crossags for a wander to see if inspiration would strike

We next headed up Sulby Glen to see if Tholt-y-Will was open - it wasn't

A drive to Peel and then to Andreas didn't produce any further pictures today

Sunday 8th March 2015

This morning Chris and I headed to Ballaghennie and then the point with little reward. We decided to call into The Phurt to look at the remains of the petrified forest. Unfortunately Winter storms have caused further damage to the sandy cliffs and sand has covered most of the remains.

Saturday 7th March 2015

This morning we decided to head to Peel. With the forecasted high winds, we were hoping for some splashing waves and dramatic seas. On the way, we called into Glen Mooar

We carried on towards Peel but saw a sign for a ploughing match so decided to check it out

We carried on to Peel and took a walk round the castle but, the waves were not as big as expected. We then headed to Ballaugh for lunch then into the Curraghs

Sunday 1st March 2015

We had been hoping for some dramatic lighting this morning but, the sun was shining and the sky blue with only a few clouds as we set off. Up over the mountain then down Sulby Glen
