Today Dave and I decided to head down South. With TT starting next week, we would need to be thinking about road closures and getting home.
Firstly we went to Silverdale and took a walk along the river. We noticed that the waterwheel powered roundabout looked to be operational - the first time I have been to Silverdale and it's been set up and running
We walked along the river as far as Monks Bridge then headed back to the car park
Next we headed down to Scarlett. We had lunch then set off along the coastal path
After we started heading inland, to make the walk circular, we noticed a field full of rape. We were unsure if the path went that close so, took a diversion to get some pictures. Unfortunately we were looking over a wall and through a barbed wire fence so, not very successful. We carried on along the footpath, eventually ending up in the rape field - this was much better
