Sunday 2nd December 2012

Our first stop this morning was the harbour to see if the Kingfisher was about but, after walking the full length then around Poyll Dooey, we gave up. We paid a brief visit to Ballaghennie, before heading for the Point of Ayre. Snow was visible on the hills in Scotland and also a light dusting on Snaefell

Yesterday, Chris had seen a group of Golden Plover on the shingle so, I set off to see if any remained. As I walked along the shingle, I noticed a fishing boat heading for Ramsey

After some time I came across two birds by the waters edge. Going into stealth mode (!) I managed to get a few shots before they were spooked by a wave and flew away.
