Today Dave and I started by walking from Ballaugh to Glen Dhoo. We saw a couple of Hen Harriers in the valley so, did not go much beyond the cottage for fear of disturbing them. No pictures unfortunately as we didn't have any big lenses with us

On our return to the car, we walked down to the fire pools to see if the Dragonflies were about. Though they were flying, I didn't manage any pictures worth keeping. We then went to Glen Helen as, we had heard it had partly re-opened. This is true but, only as far as the first bridge.

Next stop, the wildlife garden at St Johns then down the road to the nature area opposite the saw mill. This area was good for butterflies, especially the area with buddleias by the shooting range.
