Today was a much better day so, as we hadn't walked for a while (and had been discussing doing this walk for some time) we headed to Little London.
We parked up and headed down the road towards the riding stables. When we reached the stream, instead of following the sign across the stepping stones (Dave fell in here last time) we headed over the bridge and briefly into a garden before picking up the footpath. Then we headed up towards the ruined tholtan
We carried on up and across the moors. The path was a little overgrown in places
After a short detour down a valley (the path led on to Crosby) we headed through the plantation.
After returning to the car and having some lunch, we headed to St Johns and the arboretum.
