Saturday 30th June

Today Dave and I started off at a place we've been meaning to visit for some time - the wildflower garden at St John's. There are some nice flowers, including a wildflower meadow and the bees were very busy. Unfortunately the sun didn't shine so, no butterflies but I can imagine it being good for butterflies under the right conditions.

As we wandered around, I spotted these spectacles on a bench. Given the tint, I wondered if they would be useful on days like this..

We then went over to the garden by the saw mills, also in St Johns. This was nice for a wander but, no pictures that I kept. As the weather was fine, we decided to walk along the railway track to Peel (for ice cream) and back, which we did so. It was intermittent rain and bright spells so, very few pics
