We then went up to the Point of Ayre, the Manx Shearwaters had been coming quite close to shore and were in large numbers so, we sat for a while on the beach trying for pictures
Each Saturday I go out walking around the Isle of Man with my friend Dave. We take pictures as we walk - sometimes more pictures than walking! Though Dave is older than me, he is usually in front, especially when climbing hills, something he enjoys a lot more than me. I also go out with the camera on Sunday's (with my husband, Chris) or any other time I'm not working, trying to capture different views of the island

Sunday 8th July 2012
The promised sunshine didn't make an appearance but, at least it stayed dry in the north. Chris and I first went to Ballaghennie as yesterday he had seen quite a few Pyramidal Orchids on the Ayres.
We then went up to the Point of Ayre, the Manx Shearwaters had been coming quite close to shore and were in large numbers so, we sat for a while on the beach trying for pictures
