2nd October 2011

Chris and I have talked about the different items that are washed up on  beaches wherever you are and wondered about the story behind the items. So, today we decided to have a short walk along the beach at the Point of Ayre to see if there were any interesting items.

It was a little stormy looking when we arrived but, we set off and only got slightly wet....

Early finds included a school badge and the remains of a child's feeding cup.

Though not an interesting piece of detritus in itself, a different take on the wildlife pictures we have done with the lighthouse in the background

Finally, before the rain came, a pair of underpants, battered by storms and wrapped around stones.
Who knows what we may find next time
