Despite the wind, I decided I would still do some 'tide lining'. Chris dropped me at a point between the Phurt and the Point of Ayre so I could wander the beach looking for interesting objects. As ever on this sort of a walk, it was a feast or famine.

My first find - a piece from a dart. Why would someone be playing darts at the beach? On that theme, you can see why there are lots of plastic bottles on the beach - many people don't take rubbish home and it gets washed to sea but, why would someone take bleach to the beach?

You see lots of single shoes - how do these people get home?

Next finds included an inhaler, a hard hat, a dummy and a thermos

As I walked further up the beach, I found a plastic car - this was the sort of item that had started us on this quest in the first place

The final item today - what is it with men/ boys losing their underwear?
